Hi Guys

The clubs new race season starts 29 July, this will give us 8 race days untill the end of the year at three week intervals.
Drivers trophy will be based on your best three results on each race day. Worst race day results from one meeting will be droped.

Race day results for the day will be based on the final race/Final of the day.

You will need a minimum of two frequencies to enter on each race day three would be preferable. Due to the amount of people entering on a race day it is getting near impossible to run full classes due to not enough frequencies being entered by drivers.

If you all turn up with two or more frequencies we can run less fields which means a shorter day, I am shore you will all like that.

Dont forget
You must enter you car into the right class other wise you will not get any points for the Drivers Series.

1/8 will be under IFMAR rules

Stock Touring under ORCA rules

540 Electric must run a gray metal end bell Johnson 540 motor

Sports class is for beginners only and will be limitted to the short electric track

Nitro Touring class 190-200mm touring car 4WD any tyres sedan body motor to be side exhaust 12 only

Pro Touring class 190-200mm touring car 4WD any tyres sedan body motor to be rear or side exhaust 12 only

Drivers stand floor areas have now been painted with a non slip paint.

New track
We are still waiting for a response from the Gold Coast City Council

See you all on the 20th

Peter

Sorry to hear that you have to sell up your gear mitch drop me an email with what your are looking for price wise and list what you have.
You will also need to teach me how to keep the web site upto date, purhaps one or two nights during a week if it suits you.

Since the 29th is a Tuesday I assume you mean the 27th (Sunday?)

I am keen to come down, what time does the track open for practice? Also what shore foam tires are the go for a nitro open car?

Thanks.

If your motor is a rear port you will be entering in the Pro Tourer class, B or C group depending on numbers for the day.
If you have not raced before I would suggest starting in the Sports Touring class which runs a shorter track and gives you a chance to build on your driving skills. This class is limited to short track, maximum of one season in that class. If you have some driving experience I would enter in the Pro class, this way as you improve you are progressing up the ranks in the correct class and you have faster cars to chase and this will alos improve your skills.

See you on Sunday

Just would like to thank the LOSER that damaged Justin and myself radio equipment while we were Marshalling. Who ever you are, you are a GUTTLESS FREAK for not owning up to what you did!!!!!! Next time if it is not your equipment DON'T touch it. You damadged Justins radio by dropping it and bending the Antenna you also bent my Antenna and ripped the end off it.
Some care needs to be taken for this type of Equipment just the two radios you touched which r worth over $1000 the damadge you caused is estimated at a minium of $350!!

Not Happy
