Default XXX CR Thread

Who's got one who's getting one?

What do you think of the new improvements.

Fuhrer: To be fair i was checking out the XXX-CR last night and through team Losi was directed to modelflight as the distributor. Model flight don't even list the BK2 let alone the XXX-CR.

I'd love to get one to race and bash around abit!!! Maybe after Tax

The OZ sellers should see the car soon, and the Price I got was $399 aus.

I would have got one from there but the money I saved will get me tyres for the Vics.

But I will be supporting a local sponsors for these though.

I did email them, thats the price I got.

From what I've heard is there service is very good, but if people choose to buy from a place they wish to, let them.

Lets not get this thread turned in to shit fight over where they buy there stuff from.

Every one has a reason for doing things.

Thank you

I never said i wouldn't be buying it in AUS, in fact i fully intend to have the car ordered in through RC-HobbyHanger as they greatly support my racing habit. I just don't think it's particularly good business sense to not advertise a product. How is ModelFlight expecting to sell the XXX-CR if they don't even let people know they have the car either in stock or on the way.

Just my 2c

Maybe they dont list the XXX-CR because everyone is getting them from OS.............Fair Enough.
$400.00 Australian??? I'd pay that. In fact I paid $500.00 for a XX4 WE from MF two months ago.
Is that listed on the website? Are Losi tires listed? Is the XXX4 G+ Listed?
As Glenn suggested, drop them a line.

Try and get sponsorship to get a major race meeting off the ground.
It's not easy.
I know Tower won't sponsor the Vic's........

All the more reason to advertise them, as i said it makes no sense not to advertise. If "everyone" is buying them overseas how can you hope to compete if people are totally un-aware you are selling the product. If tower have the XXX-CR in stock then it will be listed. I, as a customer looking to spend my hard earned money, should not have to search to see if a product is available. If you walked into a shop where there was no stock on the shelves and everything was 'out the back' would you stand there and ask for everything??

I think my post was off topic in the first place so, here's back on topic:

The CR looks the goods. With the current 'wave' of Offroad popularity, this buggy should provide some much needed competition for the AE camp.
CR's will be out in force for the Vic's.

Just to stop confusion...

1) You can never please everyone!
2) We have a policy for our website that no product is advertised until shipping dates, etc are confirmed, and or product has been released. Hence, confirmation of shipping yesterday our time....product is online....product can now be pre-ordered, although still not yet released in US.
3) If anyone would like to contact us about our product or online sales and any grievances...feel free to contact me...
4) Also, in most cases we will endeavour to sponsor and promote not only our product lines, but also racing in Australia...I think more than a few could vouch for this...

so any questions?!

I think it has been quite impressive what Model Flight has done since they've had the Losi distribution, the level of suppport they've offered to the Losi drivers is awesome. Big thumbs up to Model Flight (and I don't even run Losi)

There are many racers in the US that have purchased these cars from online stores and from hobby shops over the counter. The actual release date has changed 5 times in the last month. Now Horizon have run out of kits and are on back order till they can fill demand again. The product has been officialy released and made available on the 17-06-2006.

Cheers
