In answer to all the questions I have been getting, yes, IFMAR approved brushless systems will be legal in modified. Should be no problems with overheating on the tight Boronia track either.

Thanks for that Ark, but you'll find the club did most/all of the hard work to make the day run smoothly - they run a great meet at Boronia. I'm sure this year's event will be great too!

Sadly not able to get those numbers with the current cells, much as we'd love to!! 1.237 - maybe soon, who knows

I guess we could go back to matching at 30amps again and get higher numbers, but I can't see why you'd want to go backwards.

The packs in question won't be super high numbers or anything like that. They will have one-off labels for the event, and will be a really good deal...

Perhaps im blind, but I cant see a weight limit set on the Vortec site. Will it be run as 1525g with transponder as usual?

yeah 1500gm without transponder / 1525 with personal is the rulese we usually run by.... i cant see that changing for this event
