ARP Sedan Hawgs Work Well.
Some people have had good success with venon v-rage tyres.

and apparently the HPI Carpet rubber should be good.

But Basically, The deaper the tread, the better.
i.e. M-03 Mini Kit tyres absolutely kill M-03 Type-A's.
However, M-03 S-Grip and M-03 M-Grip are better still and wear better.

Hey Guys,

Theres a few of us Sydney guys coming down for the titles but as yet have no accommodation because everything seems to be booked!!!

Apparently theres a Johovah's (is that how you spell it?) witness convention or something on down there that weekend???

Is there anywhere you ACT guys reccommend??? somewhere reasonably close to the track???

I'd planned to stay at Canberra Carotel... i think it is, but thats booked.

Let me know asap please as im running out of options!

Cheers

Robbie

Now I cant recommend any of these buy here is a list from a quick yellow pages search. Any which are in Belconnen should be a last resort as they are not close to the track at all.

In addition:
EPIC and Trophylink for there ongoing support of our club.

I'm expecting a few others to hop on board next week as well.

"For the few drivers who can't come down on Friday or Saturday, the doors will be open about 6am on Sunday for practice. I ask that the drivers who were there on the previous days, please allow the 'late arrival' drivers to get as much practice as possible. "

Based upon this statement we are running at least one round of quallifying Sunday.

If you are having one, you may as well have 2. That will allow ppl coming sunday only to have some chance....

Just push races through and there should be plenty of time...

I'll leave that call up to the race director (stay tuned). It would be a good idea for thoes who are comming up only for Sunday to let us know (as in pre enter) so we don't go messing with Alycat to much on Sunday.

No way! If that is the case then there is 4 to 5 guys from Sydney that wont be coming. We have made arrangements to be there Friday and Saturday, if we are going to push races through on Sunday or run later into the evening then count us out we all have to work the next day and want to get away at a reasonable time.

1 heat is fine 2 heats is BS...

Default Qual's on Sunday.

At this point in time, there are only plans for 1 round of quals on sunday.

As pointed out, it will be 2 big of a day with more.

But yeah, as Mark said, if you are coming on just Sunday, you must pre-enter.
At this point, entries will at least be suspended at the start of qualifying (SAaturday), and depending on numbers, maybe even be closed.

Calm down... Shadow is the Race director and has the final say, which he has just done. I'll go and get back in my box now I am concious of the effect of travel, having been to Winterchamps and MECA over the past couple of weeks.

We don't have any hard and fast plans but we want to have everything done by 5.30pm on Sunday and have our interstate guest on their way home by 6.
