Default Upgrading to spectrum help needed

Hey guys

Just got back into racing 1/8th off road gas and using a JR XS3

Radio has been great and has everything I need but crystal clashes and not being able to use radio in pits is a pain too

Are spectrum model features enough for nitro gas or should i go a radio like JR Z1 or a Futaba 3pk or other brands with a spectrum module and receiver

any info would be appreciated

thanks

John

a 3PKS or a M11 would be nice if you have enough, but the Spektrum DX3 is good enough to race with guys over here are using it but there are a few more adjustments on the high end radios that are compatable with Spektrum (3PK, M11, EX-10)

See Aron at Mr Toys Lawton ,

I think you can get a spectrum 3dx radio for $320 complete. It has more than enough functions for nitro.

I am using a DX3 for my 1/10 tourer and it is enough for what I need, great radio, I had JR XS3 and the only other function on it that I used and the spektrum doesnt have is the exponential setting, I just learned to drive without it. It has all the necessary adjustments otherwise.
