that lrp unit on contacts car looks like it is hanging out precariously in the hb hara, tuck it into the chassis Pete. can we shorten the sensor wires on the gtb or is this a no no? the day brushless spedies become the size of a gtx is the day brushed absolutly dies in the arse! :sneaky: :D |

it could probably go in a little, but at the end of the day if you've taken a hit big enough to do the speedy damage you have other problems... :p |

I have my Nosram brushless fitting perfectly on the Mi2EC, not overhanging the edge of the chassis for extra protection. I was suprised I managed to fit it with the RX on the chassis and without having to flip it on its side or gasp put it onto of the Servo.

man! i feel like a surgeon in a marathon operation  haven't finished cleaning upt he wirring, but all is well. there was an issue installing and finding a spot for the "goiter" of a capacitor the gtb has but it looks like i've settled on a spot. i think it's possible to have the spectrum reciever on the chassis with the gtb but you need to purchase the micro version of the spectrum that's been recently released (size of helios reciever). the gtb would be almost touching the motorcan though, unless of course the receiver is placed near the motor |

here is my 4.5 mounted. i replaced the wirring with blue (because i'm an idiot that likes everything blue! ) and shortened the wires to the reciever with the hitec part number PN 54801S. i also braided the sensor wires (is this a good thing? or will it cause problems?) and shrink wraped the sensor wires.
hopefully i don't have heaps of resistance with my soldering. i might mount the fan over the wires if this is the case. |
