I run a Novak GTB 5.5 in a FT B4 and it is quite incredible. I can't really drive it that well, perhaps a little too fast for me, but it flies. A couple of other guys at St Ives have them too. It barely gets warm and batteries last for ages, which is good for practise.

We had 8 guys in the final on the week-end at Logan in Brisbane on a big track with big straights with only one brush motor and seven brushless, both 4.5's and 5.5's it was awesome fun. No working on motors and heaps of laughts between rounds.

AS the scutineer of a number of events lately 1 being in sma round of the
C/cup it was interesting to see that 6 of the 8 A main finalists were
Brushless motors and all using 3800 cells a mixture of novak and lrp,not one word from any any competitor as to any problems, I also run a LRP sphere brushed/brushless system can not fault it, major improvement on the original
novak SS4800 system .
what ever you buy just make sure it is race legal
you will have lots of fun with it
