Default ESC repairs?

All,

I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone who repairs ESCs.

I used to have the name and number of a guy in NSW somewhere (can't remember) who did them. From memory he had a minimum charge of something like $30.

Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Ta.

Yea a guy comes down to Castle Hill by the name of Peter Stubis. So i think his business is Stubis somthing. Do a search on whitepages or yellow pages. He can fix most things with RC, and very good. Maybe TJ or Fastolfart can hook you up with his Phone Number.

Maybe send a email to raceway (email addy at www.castlehillraceway.com) to get his number and TJ will fix you up.

Coxy.

Everyone,

Peter Stubis seems like a fabulous guy! He was able to say "yknow, I reckon your problem is XYZ, that's surface mount on that model, and if that's what it is, it'll cost you $blah".

Is it just me, or is it incredibly refreshing to get someone technical who a) knows what they're talking about, and b) doesn't spin you a load of crap.

He also asked me to relay to you all to please NOT call him on the number above. He prefers to get calls on 0418 602 486. This is his work number, and youre more likely to get him there as well.

Thanks again everyone for your help.

Peter is a great guy he knows a lot of stuff, and if he cant fix something, even if he has spent time on it he wont charge you. I have sent a few things to him in the past, both repairable and not and he has been top shelf everytime.

I sent my esc to him, it was well blown (black bits on case, some parts of the case melted), and he was able to fix it!!!
I was quite surprised, thinking that it would cost alot, but it was under $100.. hes a great guy.
