. Touring Car Modified (Brushless Motor) Allowed
. Touring Car Stock (JRM Stock & Roar Stock, Rebuildable stock Motors only)
TAMIYA motors ALLOWED
. Touring Car Sport (HANDOUT 540)
. 12th scale (No Brushless MotorsO (4 Cell only)
(no battery capacity limit on any class)
SPECIFICATIONS:
Touring Cars (electric): min. weight 1400g, touring car & sport car body all allowed. Only one wing allowed (no more than 3"x7"), max. width front and rear 195mm, must have independent suspension.
12th Scale: sports/gtp bodies only. Motors - open except no brushless motors. 4 x 4200mah cells maximum.
Tires - open.
<Modified Class> Open motor. 6 cell 5 minutes. Min 8, max8 drivers per heat and final. Transponder lap scoring.
In Electric, there will be three A Finals and one each Lower Final.
<Stock Class> Stock motor-self supplied ROAR 24, JRM Stock ANY TYPE allowed. (Rebuildable Stock Motor Only)6 cell 8 minutes
In 12th scale, 4 cell 8 minutes.
Sport Class (hand out 540) 6 cell 5 minutes. A final driver allow to buy extra 540 motor <$10 each>
AWARD:
MECA Challenge has 3 rounds. There is a whole series of Trophy for the total 3 rounds. Trophies for all A Final and B Final 1st and 2nd and 3rd and Top Qualified.

That way, there is no incentive to tamper with the motor as someone else will have it in round 2 and 3.

hadnout motor, no water dip usually find the racing is alot closer than club racing, i wonder why

I just received the official entry form and specifications for the MECA Challenge Round 1. Please see my ammended first post. The information on the first post is official as provided to me by Walter.
Please especially note the battery limit is 4200 for any class and the second round date has changed to the 2nd July. Sorry for all the confusion and iterations of specs. It is now finalised.
For the record, please also note that any grammatical errors on the first post (if any) are not made by me as I have simply copied and pasted what Walter gave me...
