Updated entry list & Mini and F1 Demo Classes
Updated the entry List. XRS entry list has been growing steadily over the last week and very pleased with the number already entered for the novice/junior class.
Currently up to eight entries in both Mini and F1 demo classes. Entries for the demo classes will be capped at 10. Any additional entries for the two demo classes after the 10 cap is reached will be added to a wait list and offered a spot if someone withdraws.
Cap is to ensure we limit to one heat for each of the demo classes. Club is trying to ensure we finish at a reasonable time in the afternoon for those who have long trips home after the event.

Hi just entered but looks like I selected 21.5 rather than 13.5. Can you fix this up please.

XRS Practice and Race Day Information
Saturday Practice for XRS round 2 is from 11am to 4pm. Maximum of ten drivers on the track at any one time.
Junior/Novice will have a 10 minute time slot allocated for controlled practice starting at 50 minutes past the hour and running up to the next hour. eg: 11:50 to Noon, 12:50 to 1pm etc. Junior/Novice are not to run in the open practice session.
Open Practice will be for the remaining 50 minutes of each hour. If the open practice session becomes too hectic the club will change to controlled practice for all classes.
Chris Peet will have touring car control practice tyres for sale track side at our regular Friday night club meet. Practice tyres will also be available track side on Saturday.
Ari Bakla will have control motors for sale track side on Saturday and Sunday. Hire motors will only be available for Sunday racing.
AA Coffee Co will be at the track on Saturday and Sunday and will have hot food, fresh sandwiches, cakes, coffees, frozen cokes etc similar to the XRS SMA round. Castle Hill Raceway Club will have cold drinks and packets of chips available in the canteen on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be practice on Sunday morning prior to commencement of racing. Firm Sunday practice times and racing start times will be published late this week when entry numbers are final and we know the number of heats required on Sunday for racing. I understand people travelling on the day need to know what time we will start and as a rough guide, Sunday practice will commence between 7:30am and 7:45am and racing will commence between 8:30am and 9:00am.

Another great event from the Castle Hill crew, always run an enjoyable day. My results personally were not as good as I'd hoped, but that did not detract from my enjoyment on the day.
One small thing that did, however. If I may make a small request, that marshals watch the race instead of their phone? I had a spin during one of the F1 finals, with my car sitting only a few metres from a marshal. However, a marshal from the other side of the track retrieved my car due to the other being too engrossed in his phone. To be clear, the reason my car was there was entirely my doing, however almost a full lap was lost waiting for a pickup.
To me, it's simple. Marshal as you would like to be marshaled yourself.
