The Peninsula Cup Series 2015

Dates:
• Sunday 31st May 2015
• Sunday 30th August 2015
• Sunday 29th November 2015

Format:
• 3 Rounds – 2 best round count towards points. (Drop worst round)
• Race day – 2 Qualifying Heats and 3 Finals.
• Finals – Start each final from qualifying position.
• Points on races day – Final positions for the day after 3 finals will be decided by the total points awarded for the 3 finals.
• Points for series – 1st = 100, 2nd= 99, 3rd = 98 and so on from there.

Classes:
• ISTC Sportsman 21.5T
• 17.5 Blinky
• ISTC Stock
• ISTC Modified
• Formula 1
• Mini
• Junior Sportsman 21.5T

Please note that there must be a minimum of 5 entries for the class to run.

Trophies:
• Will be awarded at the last round for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each class.

Entry Fees per round:
• $15.00 for 1st Class.
• $ 5.00 per Class after.

Please refer to our club website for class specs and rules. http://www.mprccc.com/classes/ as scrutineering will be held at each round.

Tyres are open, but everything else must comply with AARCMCC rules.

Entries can be made on the day of each round.

On the day there will be breakfast and lunch available as well as cold and hot drinks.

Ok.... Firstly i would like to thank everybody for coming down and braving the cold weather to run the first round of the Peninsula Cup, also i would like to thank all those that helped out and got the day off and running. I really thought we may of got through it today but unfortunately the rain dude obviously didn't take me serious enough when i said i would poke his eyes out if he sent a drop our way! I apologize to everyone and i will make sure i am alot firmer with him before the next round! As mentioned to all today, all race entries paid will be carried forward to the next round,so therefore it is still an even playing field for those who didn't attend today. How it's going to work is pretty simple, basically the points from the next two rounds will be combined to determine where you finish up overall. If for any reason a particular class does not run due to not enough numbers,unfortunately that class will not be eligible for trophies at the end of the series. Entrants per class has been changed to a minimum of 3 per class but obviously the more the merrier. I look forward to seeing you all sooner but if not at Round 2 of the Peninsula Cup on Sunday the 30th of August 2015.
