Yep, this is correct.

The dimensional requirements for wheels and tyres haven't changed in decades. It used to be far more common to see at least 4WDs with front and rear tyres and wheels the same. I've seen FWDs with rears on the front too. And if you wanted to go crazy there is nothing stopping you using 2" tyres on the front.

Technically the control tyres could be selected to be some weird archaic size too. The only thing that prevents that is common sense.

On a less academic note, be careful with the width Mark. The bead on a 4WD front will often be a little wider than for a 2WD front and it does catch some drivers out.

We are planning to have the tires available for collection on the Wednesday morning. Please be patient with us, there will be lots of people trying to sort out tire collections, payments etc...
