I'm sure a committee member will be on hand at the track on Saturday afternoon to relieve you of your hard-earned although I'm unsure if you need to be a member of a 1/10th electric club specifically or if an AARCMCC affiliate club membership is enough.

If the marshals are all out at their positions and drivers are waiting, races will be started before the 90 countdown has finished. as we are going to need every spare second and minute available. If the 90 seconds between races works out to be a bit long between races during the first round ,it maybe bought down even more in the second round to save time again (I think I had it down to 70 seconds last year?).

Start time is no 7am drivers meeting, 730 first race.

Have your cars ready for a massive photo shoot as part of the drivers meeting! With an epic entry list it should make a great photo!

No entries will be accepted after the cut off as we need to finalise how we are going to get through all the races and still get people back on the road at a semi reasonable hour.

Updated event information is as follows:
  • 3 qualifying heats for all classes.
  • 3 finals for A mains, 1 final for B and C mains
  • Staggered start qualifying, grid start finals
  • There will be no transponder checks. Onus is on the driver to check the sheet and ensure the right number is in the computer
  • There will be 90 seconds between races - the computer will not be stopped for anyone
  • Drivers may do a warmup lap however if they dont make it back for the start of the race bad luck
  • There will not be a regrade during qualifying
  • There will be a 15 minute break between qualifying and finals
  • Racing starts 7:30am - drivers meeting at 7:00am
  • AARCMCC/ORRCA Victoria rules will apply
  • Open tyre event
YEP LAST NIGHT it was the 8th but this was posted yesterday

Mon Dieu!

Looks like Lil_Jason is not the only one to have been caught out by the last minute goal post move (sad face).

Dear Polli,

Please can Lil_Jason and I race on Sunday?

We promise (or at least i do as i don't actually know the fella) to be at the line on time, in the correct race, with the correct transponder, will channel our inner Mundays when marshalling for others (to which we will also be on time and at the right spot), try our darndest not to fail scrutineering, help out in any way we can, and will generally conduct ourselves as exemplary little toy car racers throughout the day.

There's going to be at least 4 heats of both 2wd and 4wd stock (assuming that the entry list is up to date and there are minimal no-shows) so a couple more little entries couldn't hurt could they?

here's hoping

Id say that would be good enough for me, but im not the one calling the shots. Get down the track Early tommorow and be very nice to Pete and he "should" be able to get you both sorted.

Can one of the committee confrim that this would be ok?

Just out of curiosity why did you guys leave your entry untill the 11 hour?

Cheers

John

Because (insert generic excuses here)......................

just hadn't got my sh!t together, it's my own fault and I will definitely be putting my entry in for the Vics at Knox as soon as Paul opens them!

Seems to be a common trait - leaving entry to a major event until after the last minute

Defeats the purpose of a cut-off date and time if you ask me..........but it's the committee's call on it so no use worrying

Be a long-ass day no matter what.....

Just help out by presenting legal cars/motors/batteries/ESC's all day and it'll be cool
