Evening all. If you are intending on coming to the warm up meeting on the 10th of August would you mind spending a minute to fill in this form please.
Hobby Habit would like to confirm numbers as to make sure they have staff on board and the like.
http://aerccc.org.au/warm-up-meeting-interest/
The $10 race fee will cover your practise during the day as well. When you pay when you get there there let the guys/gals know you'll be racing that night as well they will take care of the rest

2.8.1 Entry into an AARCMCC EP On Road Championship is open to current financial members of AARCMCC EP affiliated clubs
2.9.3 The competitor is responsible for ensuring that they are a current financial member of an AARCMCC EP affiliated club.
It makes no mention of on-road vs off-road that I can see.
Thanks very much,
Jamie

Could I please have a ruling on this from a club official as interested in coming down for a run but a member of an 'AARCMCC affiliated EP ' off-road club and really don't want to have to join another RC club to come and race. The current AARCMCC publicly ratified rules state:
2.8.1 Entry into an AARCMCC EP On Road Championship is open to current financial members of AARCMCC EP affiliated clubs
2.9.3 The competitor is responsible for ensuring that they are a current financial member of an AARCMCC EP affiliated club.

This has come up in the past. The rule means what it says. Any EP club is fine, be it an offroad or onroad club.
The reason it's worded like that is that there is an EP and an IC half of IFMAR, and as such AARCMCC is affiliated twice, once as IC and once as EP, and thus clubs are nominally paying affiliation fees for whichever half they belong to.

Maybe some people are frightened off running Mini, scared of the searing latin rythmns of Tito Puente?.....

I know of 6 local drivers with Minis who haven't entered as yet...
I haven't had time to make it down for a practice run, those that have - what tyres have worked well for Mini?
Cold weather and no direct sun on the track, so I'm guessing something pretty soft?
