Entries are now open for Round 3 in Canberra on slyfox. Should be a good warm-up for the ACT State Championships the following month.

Make sure to support the Canberra club in round 3 and enter on slyfox.

Also, I've reformatted the championship standings and put them up in post 1.

Cool CORMCC PROLINE SERIES Round 3

Pro-Line NSW/ACT Grand Prix Nitro Offroad Interclub Series 2013

Well its only 2 and a half weeks till round 3 of the 2013 PROLINE SERIES and the ACT track is looking mint - high grip and low tyre wear

Entries are still open on SLYFOX
Full details either on page one of this thread or the CORMCC website

This event is 4 weeks before the ACT State Titles and will be great to see just how grippy the track comes up and also to see if the championship tables turn

25 entries so far, and most from the Canberra club. A good result for the hosts here could bring them well into contention for the Clubs' Championship. At present they trail leaders Liverpool by just 19 points. Maitland are 3 points off the lead; our team for this round is a little thin at the moment, but of good quality. Moving ahead of Liverpool before their home round would be a big boost to our chances.

The Barbarians will also have a bigger team at this round than they have had previously with Savage Sam joining Ron Maya in the nation's capital. They'll be looking to solidify 4th place ahead of the smaller NSW Nitro clubs.

Neither St Ives nor Illawarra scored last round, and they remain 1 point apart. A good performance here from either club would give them an edge in this private battle.

The drivers' championships are shaping up nicely too. In Truggy more and more it is looking like a duel between Maya and Kelly. Anything Maya can do to stop Kelly taking maximum advantage of his home round will keep him in the game.

In Buggy, the top 3 are already registered. Kelly is 3rd on total points, and Wade and Gardiner will be looking to keep it that way, but there are others who could threaten if they make the trip. Gillott was sublime in Illawarra but was absent in Maitland. Bakla was another that was absent in Maitland but could make an impression with a good run home, and then there is Lewis, Bjelic and the next best Canberra local Nick Morris. I'm sure Nick would love to move up the table.

It's all to play for in Canberra. But you've got to be there!

Talking ACT Round 3

After much deliberation, we have decided on a demo class for this event: Open 1/8 EP (ie; Buggy + Truggy)
Due to the low numbers we normally see for the one EP class, we hope to have a full field (or maybe even two rounds if need be?) by opening the class up to the truggy guys too...
Slyfox will be updated in the next day or two to include the new class.
Work is in progress to get the venue and track up to scratch for the event - we just need the weather to stay the way it is............

Currenlty sitting at 20 entires in Buggy, and 15 in Truggy with 2 weeks to go. I think this makes this almost the biggest meeting for Truggy this year, could use a few more Buggies to spice things up though.

My guess is it would depend on numbers, but it will probably end up that both race together as happened on the weekend at CORMCC. It's early days for EP 1/8 participation, but it's getting better.

Great to hear that EP is up too, fantastic!

Vic (Genebaby) is spot on - numbers will determine whether they are separate classes - we want it to be open to as many competitors as possible.
We will list it on Slyfox as seperate EP Truggy and EP Buggy - but numbers will determine what happens on race day.

21 Buggys and 21 Truggys at the moment. Unusual to see Truggy just as popular as Buggy.
