I've opted to put aside the 21.5 for a little while to make room for the new toy :) Hopefully we'll be seeing a nice number of them hitting the local tracks for us guys to have some fun!

Having a serious think about one of them also. Looks like there is going to be somewhere to run them now, where as b4 it was just Mini Nat's. That might justify it for me i think.

Thats the Boy Damo! come join in the fun! hey if we find that we cant drive em we can always jump em! :)

got mine running. now get some rules. maybe mini combo only--normal mini rims( no inch ups).any tires standard body shell. etc. have everyone on the same playing field.

lookieaefanboi 06-17-2012 06:26 PM

I am pretty sure it was mini combo only at the nats but tyres were open? I dont really see any advantage to using inch ups anyways as gearing is open unlike mini ;) I will be running mine with the mini combo and either mini sweeps or the tp tyres ;)

At Mini Nats 4WD was

-Open gearing
-Open bodyshells
-H/Wing Combo
-Open (rubber) tyres

They're the rules we've run for the past 4 years and they work fine.

sounds okay wrinkly dick. hope the rules don't get re-invented

It's on the cards to get all 2012 results up in the next month Jordan, have hit a snag with uploading the results. A solution to the problem has been found its just a matter of me doing a little road trip to be educated so I can get the job do e and keep doing it from there on. It's a priority job for me as I to want to see the results up for viewing.

Not sure about the previous 2 but 2011 & 2012 4wd class at the Mini Nats were pretty close racing would have to agree with TFG here, but like any classes sometimes they need to be tweaked when an obvious advantage/disadvantage arise.
