What do people think of race reports appearing on the major websites for events which are nothing more than club races?
My view is that when you win something decent - like a meeting listed under "Australian Events" then maybe its ok. There are two many has been, wannabes sending their club results in and trying to look like rock stars. Be honest with yourself - does the whole world need or want to hear about it?
This seems to be a particularly Australian (offroad GP) phenomena...

If a club doesn't advertise that they exist then how can they expect their member base to grow and attract racers to attend events. Club should advertise that they are here racing and get recognition for it. It's not just the larger metropolitan clubs that drive our sport.
Every post has a title, if you don't want to read something from another club then don't open it.

Sorry, I didn't explain what I meant very well. I'm not referring to posts on RCTech but reports sent to Neobuggy, RedRC, Buggy Sport etc where people are portraying themselves as super stars when what they have done is perform well at a club race.
To take it a step further, on several occasions, they have dropped the names of better drivers who may have had a bad day to elevate the perception of their performance.
I will give you an example:
Awesome Buggy Internet Page.
Little Johny dominated a top field including Massami at the Back of Beyond cup today. (The real story was that Massami dnf'd because Little Johny T-boned him in the first corner and broke his car).
This type of example does seem to happening here! My message is to keep it real and honest. Don't just do it to big note yourself!!!
