2012 - AKA CUP - 21/22 Jan 2012

LRRCC and Ryper Hobbies would like to present the inargural running of the AKA Cup. This event will be a controlled tyre event for 1/8 IC Buggy, 1/8 IC Truggy and 1/8 EP Buggy. This event will enable to gauge yourself against some of best truggy and buggy drivers in Australia on the same tyres that won the IFMAR World Title.

Date : 21st/22nd January 2012

Location : LRRCC – Iraking Ave Moorebank NSW

Tyres : Pre mount - super soft I-Beams for all classes1x set(4tyres/rims) supplied with Entry1 x Additional Set Available for Qualifiying1 x Additional Set Available for Finals

Race Format : ABC Finals (15 Car Finals)Top 10 in to A-Final 5 to bump from lower Finals

Saturday
9am – 10am – Practice 10:30am – Qualifying (10min heats)Anticpate 4rounds of Qualifying on Saturday

Sunday
9am Possible 2 further rounds of Qualifying(Pending on Entry Numbers)A B C Finals

Entry Fee :
Buggy - $80 incl 1 x set of tyres/rims
Truggy - $100 incl 1 x set of tyres/rims


Additional Tyres
Buggy - $50 per set
Truggy - $70 per set

guys and dolls,

This promises to be a great event.

We are having a huge maintence weekend this weekend, and will have the track scraped and rolled so we'll have the surface in tip top condition..

Weather permitting i will be pumping a lot of water in to the track over the coming weeks to ensure the surface grips up and gets a great goove going...

I have seen the menu's for the canteen, and there will something from everyone, Fruit salad, Sandwiches, Burger, hotdogs , chicken kebabs, Icecreams, Slushy(perfect for the hot weather...).

We have 44 entries already and more are coming in daily...
