2011 COLEMAN CUP. ORRCA VIC Drivers series round four.

Question?
What Orrca Vic rules. They only tell how the racing will run and not the total rules, so are running under AARMMC rules.
here is there provision for short Course to be run. If it is expected the entry numbers sre up will we run till very late in the day.
ORRCA Vic specifically state the classes to be run.
When will it be decided to run to rules.

The Bendigo crew will be there

I would also assume that shortcourse would be run to the same rules at what the stampede will be using. i.e. 10.5t no boost, no 1/8 tyres and so on.

Seriously awesome news that the stand is back up and ready to go!!

Ive got the modified trophies from last year and have noticed that they havent been engraved for a long time (2002 actually).

Does anyone have the results so that I can get them engraved and up to date? The results below are the only ones I know.

why no 4wd sct? is it something to do with the coleman cup tradition? anyway ill be there (with my 2wd buggy)

I would guess that would be because there are no rules for 4wd sct yet.

Perhaps it is something you could get your clubs orrca rep to raise at the next meeting?

Unofficially we won't be condoning 4wd SCT...as majority of them are 1/8th buggies with SCT bodies designed for US 1/8th tracks, it really makes a joke of what 1/10 scale is meant to be...at least 2wd SCT is in keeping with the scale...rant over

+1. My SC10 is longer in wheel base than my MBX6 and the 8th scale has the long chassis on it.

Why is the Colman being run as the 4th round of the drivers series?????

this event should be run as a stand alone event!!!!!

THe Knox cup is the 4th round and if u cant fit it in this year then the 4th round should be dropped !

The Coleman IS the 4th round. The Knox Cup was scheduled to be in March and the last round/re run of the 2010 wash out. It was swapped with the Keilor Cup so the guys heading to the Nationals could get a 'big race' in prior to heading to W.A.

First club day or Coleman warm up will be 16/10/2011

According to the ORRCA manual the ORRCA Victoria Drivers Series will be made up of four events (one of which will be the Coleman Cup) held at each of the affiliated clubs. The Coleman replaces the hosting clubs other major event (e.g Knox Cup, Mallee Madness) as the round counting towards the drivers series. Hope this clears it up.
