I've forwarded the question to the Bayside thread at http://www.rctech.net/forum/australi...ml#post9761944 on this forum, and someone from the committee will probably answer it here on this thread.

There have been tents there at many previous occasions , and it should be alright unless the club has changed its policy on that. But wait for the club to reply, I couldn't tell for sure.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

Hi setting up a tent will be fine as it's been done in the past without any troubles.

It's 1425 grams this year Alex, the rules are here: http://www.orrcaqld.org.au/wp-conten...1-Oct-2011.pdf. The weight for modified will change to 1380 grams next year in order to have uniform rules with national weights.

Kindest regards,
Lars.

Wow not even 1/5 scale is that heavy, 1380G would be better.

Are we allowed to change the rotor size in 17.5t within the AARCMCC rule 10.2.4? minimum 12.00mm and maximum 12.51mm?

No, we are using ORRCA Q rules which were written with the intension of using a motor on an approved list run in standard form.
