Yeah I suppose it's a bit hard for your drivers that live in Wollongong to come and race at their club in Maitland.

OK - how about this:

This years result for the CC was unfair in my honest opinion.

The meeting WAS NOT COMPLETED - yet full points were awarded. If this situation arises again - then half points or no points at all should be awarded.......

Hows that!!

Nothing stopping the quick guys running at other clubs on the off weekends against the quick guys from that club (Which also helps out the clubs financially and fosters stronger club relationships).

In addition I'm sure we still have State & National titles to give them something to aspire to. But please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think this would encourage more newbies to the cc rounds,,We've all heard and read about these sponsored drivers in NSW,,
It makes it a bit scary if you race MOD at your club, and then realise you have no chance of beating these members for a day,cc runners,,,why bother running,,

No disrespect here boys,,just putting out some of my own thoughts,,,

No membership, and proof of club racing, means,,no cc rounds,
Think I heard a pin drop. Better head over to the Ryde thread and party on!!! Whooo Hoooooooo!!!!

I looked out my window at some road works today. Man that situation is out of control. It's always 6 guys watching one man dig a hole for himself. Surely the 6 guys aren't getting paid???

There's a worksite at UNSW at the moment where there are 3 fairly young girls on traffic control. It's funny I haven't seen any of the other workers having anything that looked like a break.

Yeah, I know it's an odd situation. But the Illawarra guys don't feel like Sydney racers so they've chosen to join up with us. As it turns out Gillott has done 50% of all the Nitro Offroad meetings we've had at Maitland this year, so he'd probably pass any test you'd come up with.

When State Titles get rained out after 3 rounds of qualifying should we give out half trophies too?

Maitland members have cards, unless they tell us they don't need them (they are mainly used for discounts at local stores). I think all NSW Associations by law have to keep a register of financial members don't they?

We keep race meeting results online, but I have enough to do without going through the list working out who's raced and who hasn't.

And btw I wanted to hold off on calling the meeting (and we would have got another round or two in had we waited an hour, I hung around talking for a few hours afterwards), but I was over ruled because the majority of Sydney drivers had already packed up and left!
