Default 2011 Bendigo Classic

It almost here again - Bigger Better and something Different
This Year we will be running Qualifiers under Lights on the Saturday Night ..

Date - March 19th & 20th

At this Stage Racing will Start 12pm on the Saturday ( Controlled Practice from 8 am ) and continue into the Night and Sunday ..

Concourse for all Classes .. Trophies for TQ and Top 3 in Each Class , Ribbons for lower Finals ..
Classes -
  • MINI
  • 540
  • 21.5
  • 13.5
  • Open
Now this Year we will be running Controlled Tyres for the 21.5 and 13.5 TC Classes Each Driver will be allowed 3 Sets of Tyres for Qualifying and Finals - Supplied by the Entrant and Marked by Officials before the Event Starts You will be required to hand your Tyres back in after Racing Saturday Night ..
Open I believe are organizing a Gentleman's agreement ( Watch this Space ) again this year with 4 Sets being allowed fro Qualifying and Finals ,,

All Classes will run under the 2011 VORTEC Rules including Batteries ..

Full Catering will be available ..

Entry Fee will be $35 - $15 2nd Class

Entry Form will be available with in a Week or so .. When the Naming Rights Sponsor is secured ..

Feel Free to Discuss tyre Choices here and Ask Locals what they use and works best we will only be too Happy to Help out ..

is cross entering allowed? eg 21.5 & 13.5?

Will be Yes providing it's the Next Class up with TC ... EG 21.5 & 13.5 or 13.5 & Open etc

I think the muchmore 36's are the go for our track, sweeps wear out way to fast as i have tested them.
Just about all hobbie shops stock the muchmores too.

where abouts do you get the muchmore tyres over there and how much do they sell for?
there are 6 of us "South Islanders" confirmed coming so far

Format sounds awesome guys. Emailed application for leave to work today. Hopefully will be approved when I get back on Monday. Can't wait!

personally I dont know anyone who uses MM's on a frequent basis.

on the other hand, if sorex's were the go, most people wouldn't need to purchase tires if they already have them.

and are the inserts open?

Great Feedback about the idea of running under Lights We are even planning Practice Under Lights on the Friday Night ... Providing all goes to plan ..

Format sounds great guys I cant make it though...Clipsal 500 wins since that was planned first. Theres wayyyy to many things going on in March

Yep Next Year we will Change months - Was to late to change this Year as Guys had already booked Flights and Accommodation..
