Woohoo 'A' graded!

Either the subliminal message in my signature is beginning to work, or I'm there on the basis of being the 10th fastest of 11 drivers capable of finishing 4 out of 6 heats at the Nationals*.

*This is actually a lot harder than it sounds when you're driving a car discontinued for 5 years, with NiMH cells that are 4 years old, and are the only driver at the event capable of snagging a brush.

Just remember guys that this a draft copy so people can make changes if need be as well as checking transponder and frequences. This is not in concrete. The proper racing grid list will go up on Friday at the track. Once I see lap times in practise. So Daniel if you don't perform back in the B for you . I have tried to go a lot of the nats with so many drivers moving around this year it has been interesting special in mod and stock.

But everyone tells me that home track advantage is everything!

You could always go a lap faster and use a RED car!

Doh! Ok, it's fine. You grade on consistency anyway right?

Seriously though, how do I go about installing the club transponder for practice if you are using times? Or are we having controlled practice near the end of the day?

No Daniel no control practise. "Let not your heart be troubled" will work something out.

G'day TJ and Dan,

Are you going to have timed practice for both GP and EP, broken into classes of similar speed? Say blocks of twenty minutes each.

I know the GP can not run until after 9am. So will the timed sessions start from then?

When and at what time will you be able to purchase practice tyres on Friday?

Thank you,

Regards,

Calvin.

Yes thats the idea Calvin. previous years we have done 1 hour turn around between nitro and electric. This year as you said 20 minutes sections one nitro, one electric until numbers get to a point that we have to look at separating into same speed classes. We will be using timing as we have done in the past we will be running two computers one calling and one that you can get a record on paper of your times. WiFi will not be in use till race day. Plus called times will only call the time not the driver. Timing will start as soon as I get it up and running so say 8 -8.30am on Friday depends on when the power will be avaliable.

Good question on the tires I'll let Ari answer that one.
