Look forward to seeing you "mainlanders" over here. We'll hopefully make you feel welcome....just not so welcome that you take all our trophies home!

Seeing as it wouldn't be right to take all your trophies back to the mainland without at least breaking bread together are there any plans for a dinner on Sat night? Doesn't need to be anything flash (we mainlanders think McDonald's is pretty fancy)

Hey there Stevo,
nothing officially planned as yet but there are places to go nearby, what motel are you staying at?

Hey Steve,

No idea where we were in relation to the track, but a few years back we actually found a Macca's that had a walk through! Ahh, yeah - different!

Mini's are sorted and ready to be packed into the bag for the trip. All systems are go!

Looking forward to a great weekend of racing!

6 of us from TFTR are staying at the Northside Holiday Villas in Glenorchy. So pretty close to the track. I guess we'll see what happens on Sat. If any of the guys are going out for a meal then we'd be keen

Lots of people out practicing today. Track looks fantastic having been pressure cleaned yesterday. Looking good for a great weekend of racing.

We'll be reporting over the weekend at actionrc.com.au

Well what a great weekend of racing, even though my racing ended on Saturday
Just like to congratulate all all the winners, had some awesome lap times laid down and some great clashes and crashes.
Big thanks to everyone that organised the event and a big thanks to the mainlanders for coming over to participate.
I hope they enjoyed themselves and pass the word on at how much they enjoyed it and come back for the next one, most of all they make it back to the Big Island safe and sound.

Thanks guys for a great weekend of racing.

To Peter, Lee and the rest of the committee, thanks for putting on a great weekend.

To Scott and Heavy, thanks for the commentary during the finals - added to the pressure of it

To all the Mini drivers, thanks for a fun weekend of fanging! At least we kept the crowds entertained!
