Racing on every Sunday up to the Event - 27th Dec - 3rd Jan.

REMINDER: it is vitally important that you DO NOT attend if in the last 14 days you have any of the following:
been unwell or had any flu-like symptoms ie. fever, cough, sore/scratchy throat
been in contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19
experienced any sudden loss of smell or loss of taste
have a high risk from a health perspective, including the elderly and those with pre-existing medical health conditions
In addition, we will not allow entry to any person that has attended any of the identified COVID-19 case locations in NSW. Current case locations :
Refer to the nsw.gov.au website for the latest locations/dates.
BYO HAND SANITISER
Members and racers are requested to bring their own hand sanitiser and use it regularly
during events. IMCC will have a limited number of sanitisation stations available.
ATTENDANCE REGISTER
To assist with contact tracing, IMCC are required to register the
attendance of all members, racers, mechanics and spectators who
enter the track/pit area. Please ensure you record your attendance
by providing the required contact information.
TRACK & EQUIPMENT
Members and volunteers who assist with any aspect of track/equipment set up and/or pack
up are required to sanitise their hands before and after their involvement and/or wear gloves
while completing the task.
Equipment such as blowers and brooms should be sanitised before and after use.
CLUB TRANSPONDERS
Drivers/mechanics are required to wipe down the transponder and sanitise their hands
before and after handling a club transponder.
DRIVERS STAND
The maximum number of drivers permitted on the drivers stand will reduce from 10 to 8.
However to ensure that racers feel safe and suitably distanced upon their initial return to
IMCC, we will adopt an interim maximum of 5 drivers per heat/group. This will provide
physical distancing of 1250mm between active participants (allowing 500mm per driver).
Drivers in the next race must wait until all drivers have vacated the drivers stand before they
enter. Increased change-over time will be allowed between races to support this procedure.
While waiting, drivers must ensure they maintain the appropriate 1.5m physical distance.
Handrails will be periodically wiped down and sanitised.
PIT CREW / MECHANIC
Pit crew and mechanics are required to sanitise their hands before and after each race,
and/or wear gloves while completing the task. Pit crew and mechanics are also required to
physically distance themselves when in the pit lane.
MARSHALLING
Marshals are required to sanitise their hands before and after each race, and/or wear gloves
while completing the task.
PIT AREA
Drivers are required to maintain 1.5m physical distance between each other. Pit tables,
marquees and other equipment must be set up to conform to one person per 4 square
metres of space.
AIR COMPRESSOR
Drivers/mechanics are required to sanitise their hands before and after using the air
compressor.
For everyone who does attend, please adhere to social distancing measures and maintain a
high level of hygiene, remain vigilant, and respect and follow all measures put in place. We
also ask that you follow any specific request that may be asked of you by the committee.

The numbers keep going up:
Please remember the club will be having practise at the track next Sunday 3rd Jan.
Also its been reported that Ian and the club has been resurfaced the track with Boral Coat so the tracion will be good.
I hope to have a draft grid listing up by the 4th Jan - lets see what the entries are like after next Sunday.
So far we have past the 80 mark

Well we have about 2 1/2 weeks before we try to run this event again on the weekend of the 19-21 feb. We have left the entry form up since the last attempt and we have increased our numbers by 6, thats great to see. Please remember if you cannot make the event on the new date to let us know before the 19th Feb so we can set the classess up and give the club an idea of numbers that will be coming.
