It’s our pleasure to announce that Kyle McBride confirmed his invitational spot this year!
We can’t wait to get this going!
Important - Yokomo invitational 2018 track preparation & lead up
In the effort of fairness to both competitors & our locals running on the track in the lead up to the invitational the following rules apply.
The track can only be run with carpets on! We want to reduce any local advantage in running on the actual race surface.
A practice day without carpets will be run this Sunday on the layout but before the obstacles are completed.
Starts at 9:30am with carpets back on at 4pm.
On the 21st of January a working bee will add the final obstacles for the layout.
We will run a short format club day (carpets off) to check marshalling positions and check for any layout issues. Stay tuned for the date.
Then on the 8th February at 6pm track will be closed. Carpets removed in readiness for practice to begin at 12pm Friday the 9th
Note: no changes to track or taking the carpets off outside of these dates. All these conditions are weather dependent and we will communicate any changes.
