Red face Needed - Electronic Speed Controllers

Hi to all,

These Electronic Speed Controllers are to help the Teen RC Christmas Project which helps disadvantaged and damaged young people to have a great Christmas.

See this link for information on the Project: http://www.rctech.net/forum/australi...guys-rule.html

I'm after any Relatively Cheap priced Electronic Speed Controllers, or ones no longer working which I may be able to repair, or those older ones you may no longer use and may wish to donate them.

Kind regards Mark Baker (TRCCP)

Thumbs up

I have the stock Tamiya one that came with my DF-02. I've soldered on deans plugs to it. You interested in that? I also have about 4 silver can motors if you're interested mate?
I like what you're doing. Keep it up. If I was rich, I'd buy you a few DF-02's to play with.

G'day Ratsack

Awesome, yes I'm interested in all you are offering; if you've got deans on the Tamiya ESC, you've just saved me a job. I've been using deans on all the cars to make battery and battery charger matching easy.

What is your price?

Regards Mark.

We're meant to want a price? I thought we were donating. If it makes you feel better, you can cover postage but I'm not that worried mate. I like that it's helping people out.

Default Dear Ratsack

Hey Ratsack, I try not to assume, especially when I'm dealing with such generous people like yourself. I've found sometimes people don't always write what they mean.................

I'm am more than happy to pay postage if you are so wonderfully generous enough to give; I and in the end the kids - teens, will appreciate all offers of help.

Please feel free to send your donation Cash on Delivery through Aussi Post and I'll fix it on arrival.

Thank you again for your generosity, it is awesome!

No worries mate. My girlfriend and i are moving houses this coming week so it might be a week or 2 before I can send it off. I'm sure you don't mind but I'm just giving you a heads up.

EDIT: 2x Nimh 7.2v batteries, 3x silver can motors (one doesn't have cables on it), 1x Tamiya ESC. Just been packed in box, if I get time this week, I'll send it off.

Smile Hi everyone

I'm just letting you all know I have had some awesome offers so far and I really appreciate them.

Please continue with your kind generosity and go and check out that shed, old cupboard or dusty shelf; is there any old, no longer usable ESC that may be repaired or I can recycle to help out some Disadvantaged kids?

Kindest regards Mark.

Hey Mark, just stumbled across your post... I've had a look through my spares and found 3 silver can RS540's, a set of 4 Tamiya Radial on road wheels and tyres. I don't want anything for it mate. It's great to see that someone cares about those less fortunate than us. I'll drop them off next time I'm down Brisbane way(prob 5th December for Boondall offroad) or I'll cover the postage to get the bits to you. PM me with your address and phone number and I'll organise it.

Great work mate, keep it up.

Conrad

Hi Mark.

Since i read all the donations i would like to help.

I have lots of new 540 silver motors if you still need some. A Tamiya belt drive touring car (Front mounted motor) with body and MSC.

Have some old radios wheel and stick type. Odd crystalls and will throw all my vintage rx's (am).

Cant really help with ESC .

Hang on i have a Tekin P12 with a blown fet.

Novak racer that works but gets glitches and maybe a another working speedie.

If you want them let me know.

All my cars are off road so i can donate some new tyres if you can use them.

Hope i can help. Sorry cant pay for postage but i live in Caboolture so shouldnt be much. Welcome to pick up and we can go through my collection to see what else i can donate.

Great to see this going to a good cause.

Well Done.

Mark De Bono.
