Price check thread
Hi there,
I hope it's OK to post a price check.. That is, to find out what an item is considered worth.
Team Associated SC10 roller
Started out life as an SC10 RS, but now has:
Proline big bore shocks front and rear
FT alu hexes on the rear
B44 rear hubs (larger outer bearing)
New gear diff installed (used old but mechanically excellent outdrives)
High torque slipper pads
CVA drive shaft setup (as opposed to the original dog bones)
Factory team front bulkhead
FT blue titanium turn buckles
RPM front bumper + chassis brace
RPM ball cups
Stock servo (yes, not an addition, but I figured I should mention it's included)
Thanks

Its worth only what someone is willing to pay..
Stick it on eBay, $0.99 starting bid, and whatever the auction finished for is what its worth..

Really is hard to say, what may be a good price for one may be too high for another, and it can change from day to day.
Late Jan / Early Feb is always slow on the FS boards, Credit Card statements from the Xmas season are starting to filter through, a bit of bill shock happens and people tighten up the purse strings. Happens every year.

In response to wever - cheers, thats around what I got for it.
In response to nexxus - Yeah, it does seem that way. I noticed the for sale boards turn very slow by mid december and hasn't yet picked up.
I ended up selling it to a local mate for a price I was content with and a good deal for him. Advantage for him is knowing that I spent a good many hours tidying it right up. It's literally ready for elecs then the track.
Feel free to close this mate.. Thank you very much for allowing me to pose the question here, even though I didn't get much in the way of $ estimations. It helped regardless.
On that note.. another forum I an on has a specific section for 'price checks' and it works very very well. It would be even better here as members are not encouraged to leave the price that items have sold for in the original listing. Something that would make working out item values much easier.. bit of food for thought anyway. (even a stickied thread would work well)
Thanks again.

Ok let's trial this, We'll make this a price check thread where people who have something can guage a rough estimate of it's worth if they wish to, that way they can use that information if they wish to sell or may choose not to. I will put this thread as a sticky now, and keep an eye on it, it may help some people, but if it turns into a nasty thread, I will take it down very quickly.
So ok guys, lets see if we can do this!
