okay so you're quoting us $200 shipped.

now, would you ever be able to source an FF-01 or TA03F pro?

the purpose of these for sale threads is for individuals to sell goodies... not for commercial organisations to advertise prices etc., if they want to do that it is possible to come to a commercial arrangement with rctech

this operation appears to be a little 'commercial' in nature ... maybe you should start up a thread similar to the feral batteries or harris rc ones in the main forum and talk in general terms about your products with out mentioning them being for sale and your patrons can talk about the 'wonderful service' etc. (my apologies in advance if either of the two forums mentions are in fact paid for)

Default Tamiya parts

Hey guys,

If you want Tamiya parts and kits just go through RC-Champ. This shop right next door to the Tamiya factory in Japan. I have used this service heaps of times and you can't go past it.

Mr Masa and his team, offer excellent service and their prices are around 25% below the recommended retail price (the price printed on the Tamiya boxes)... Shipping from Japan is via EMS (Japan postal service) which is quick, has a tracking number and not expensive. With the Aussie dollar at $1AUD = 106Yen you can't go wrong.

To use their service just complete the attached spreadsheet (it has been zipped) and email it off to them. They will reply back with a quote. Email is the best way to communicate with them as they are very busy.

To find a part number, just go to other online Tamiya sites and look them up.

RC-Champ also pay for a thread on RCTech too Champ R/C Advisor

I am no way associated with RC-Champ

Cheers,

Tony

Tamiya mi .... you missed the point of what Roadrunner was saying. RC Champ are probably the cheapest supplier of Tamiya in the world. Racers here can buy direct from RC Champ so what is the point of racers buying from you if you cant match HK prices let alone the prices from Japan.

hi cannon,

yea..i miss that point that says RC Champ is cheaper..and from my previous post..i believe i said that it's ok..
cause i m just a small work here for everyone. before even posting this i did think of that. i know i will expect shops and even other people selling cheaper stuff. but i just hope that people know that i m here to provide another choice or even preference for them to buy.
because i know that i m just a person service. i dont have resources that big hobby shops had. so of cos in term of prices that's the lowest i can go as compared to big hobby shops.

i don't mind people dont buy but just ask about the price at least now they get to compare.

and at least they know that there's another source they can turn to.

so ya..that's the point of me having this thread. i dont people use my thread to tell others about cheaper place that they can turn to.

but the final choice i believe still fall on the buyers.

so..

thank you all for the suggestions and comments

regards,
jk

tamiya_mi, whatever you choose to do with your business aspirations one would hope that many people using rctech would take your approach to dealing with people who care to 'rain on their parade'

its encouraging to see people who fail to get abusive and maintain their composure when challenged ... thats priceless

Contact ... I think you missed the point of what Roadrunner and myself were trying to show to Tamiya mi. It is impractical to try to compete against RC Champ. We were simply trying to explain that it is not easy to compete with this and would not be worthwhile.

Not to mention importing Tamiya items and falling under the wraith of Toy Traders
