Yes, I'm using the stock AM radio that came with the truck. I'm also still using alkaline AA's in the stock battery pack. I called the local hobby shop and they think I need to upgrade to a rechargable battery pack for the receiver and servos. I didn't know if they were just pulling my leg or not. I plan on buying one tomorrow so I guess we'll see.

Alkaline batteries cannot supply enough amperage to high torque servos. Upgrading to a rechargable battery would be a good idea. Also AM receivers have a BEC circuit in their designated battery slot so that will need to be bypassed. To do this simply plug the battery/ switch harness into a open channel on the receiver. If all your channels are being used then use a "Y" harness to connect the servo and battery/ switch into a channel.

Changing the battery out to a rechargeable helped considerably!!! The throttle servo is just twitching a little now, so I'll probably still get the "Y" harness. Thanks for the input; I was worried there for awhile!!! I'm racing tomorrow so I'll write back on how much of a difference the 5925MG makes over the stock steering servo I had!!
