Default Digital Servos and BEC

I am planning to run TC on carpet with a 5925 servo. My concern is the power draw the digital 5925 has from the BEC, as your servo manual states:
Make sure you bypass the BEC for stable operation.

How am I to determine the power the servos draw from a BEC system under load? Do I have to bypass BEC? If so can I directly power the servo using a 7.2 volt 3300 battery?

Is the 5925 a FET servo?

The main issues are with the cheaper sport type ESC's.

No, don't use 7.2V(they are rated for 6V)

No, it isn't a FET servo.
