Default Aggressor CRX screen blank

Hey Guys,
I own (and am greatly pleased with) a Aggressor CRX FM radio. I recently bought a Spectrum module and installed it. Both the radio and the new module worked flawlessly for about a week, but now the LCD screen and "power on" indicator light are not working. The radio functions just fine, no glitching etc. I'm wondering if the Spectrum module could have something to do with the screen, or if the two events are just coincidences. I am also wondering what I should do about it. We are having a large fall race in about a month, and I would like to have a radio to control my cars with. Any help and or advice you can give would be great. If this is something I can fix myself, I would prefer to do so. I am very technically proficient, as I work in a boutique audio electronics shop. Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem Hitec told me to send it in. After about two weeks of this the screen just came back and has been working since. I would send it back if I were you...unless it starts working again

Sorry, I haven't seen this.

The blue light doesn't come on when using the spectrum module, but the screen should.

Have you tried it with the original module?

Mike is out of the office right now.

screen is back on, i didn't do anything to it.

Why won't the power LED work with the Spektrum module? does the new module draw too much current?

The LED is for not for power, it is a transmit LED....

It only works with the factory modules.

...Having problems again. seems whenever I charge my radio overnight the screen will be blank when it's turned on. No loss of functionality, just a blank screen. after the battery gets down to the 10.5v range the screen comes back...
