I have a Hitec Aggressor CRX witht the spectra module in it. I was racing and all of the sudden the steering kept spinning.. I didn't know what had happened.. I unscrewed the steering wheel to see that the steering stopper has been snapped off and that it is attached to the casing.. Can i get a whole new casing for this? How much would that cost? I am affraid to glue it back because it opened up the case a little bit.

Same thing happened to mine, as well as a few other people here. I had a thread on it a while back here but it must have been deleted. I sent mine in for warranty repair and it came back fine. I also use a little longer screw to hold the steering wheel on to remove some of the slop. It will take a little while but you'll get it back fine.

Just call Hitec customer service and they will take care of you.

Sounds good, How long is a little while? Can you not order a case for it?

When you got your radio back, was it a new one or the same one repaired?

Mine was the same one repaired. I would let Hitec do the fix case otherwise you will void your warranty. Mine has worked fine since being repaired. I missed a few races while it was being repaired, it took a few weeks. But it is worth it.
