Default Hitec CRX compatibility

Hi there, I am using a CRX with a stock 40.695Mhz module. I was wondering if i could use another crystal for the module or do i have to purchase a separate module for the new crystal.
Is CRX compitable with other receivers? Can i just use a normal single conversion FM receiver from Hitec?
CRX's a great radio by the way, i really loved it.

YOu can just purchase other X'tals....

No need for a new module.

Yes, you can use it with other Rx's also.

Thanks for the previous answer
Then what about the dual conversion feature? I see that Hitec retails both the single conversion X'tal and dual ones. Must I match the crystal according to the receiver? single with single, dual with dual? So basically, the CRX stock module will take in any crystals, no matter dual or single?
Can i use the HFS-04MG with the CRX? Or what are the receivers that i can use from hitec?

Dual conversion is a feature of the Rx, not the Tx....

Yes, you can use that Rx with it as long as it is on the same band.

The only match you will need to do between the Tx & Rx is the correct CH. number.
