Hitec servo - HS-425BB
#1
Okay, I know, it was quite inexpensive. But anyway, I'm dissapointed. It lasted less than 5 minutes. Even my first Acoms AS-12 took a lot more abuse.
The HS-425BB can't center correctly anymore. If I simulate a crash by holding (locking) the front tire with my hand, and then turn the steering wheel on the TX, then the servo motor works and move the center point....
Admitted, my servo saver was very hard (now it's loosend). So I thought that I broke the gear. But now I've tear it apart, and all the gear wheels seems to be fine. I expected to find some missing tooth on a wheel or two?
Is the gear chrashed? Or is it something else? Anyone else experienced this? Is it "normal" with this servo?
Please help with some advise.... The support from the LHS, well, hmmm, it could be better ! So I would like to know about this before I contact them.

To answer my own question:
The servo works perfectly, it's a matter of using the right servo horn ! Preferable a servo horn, that fits the servo
- for example the one that comes with the servo, instead of the one that came with the car
