Hitec,

What would be nice combo for a HPI R40 for the servos. I have alll hitec high torque in my Mt's. But this is a first for onroad.

I want digital, torque, and speed for the steering.
BUt not so much for the throttle so a little less on the cost side for this one.

For steering, a digital 5925. For the T/B I would go with a 645MG. Lots of torque to nail the brakes, but not so fast so you have smooth throttle response.

I run the 645 in the buggies and they work flawless. As for the 5925, would that be this servo here:
