Default 5645mg range of motion

I put a 5645mg in my ofna 1/8th scale for steering. I am running a JR r300 synthesixed receiver and a JR XS3 remote. My problem is range of motion. The steering rack has a ton more range than what the servo is turning. I have adjusted all the endpoints etc on the radio. I bought the servo used could it have been programmed? Or is it not happy talking to my JR radio gear?? ANy ideas??

You made sure your steering dual-rate is maxed out?

I have the HiTec servo horn that is from Associated. It is the set they put in the kits. It is the same size as the one that came stock with tth eHper 7 buggy.

With your car turned off, can your turn the wheels on the car and make the servo go further?

Hmmmm, yes, it is possible the servo has been programed.

You may ask the person you bought it from.

Default unprogramming

Is there anyway to reset the servo to factory defaults without trying to track someone down with a HiTec programmer? All I want to do is release the set end points that someone programmed in there. Thanks
