Default HS-525MG Centering

Hi all

Does anyone have trouble with this specific servo returning to center? Mine on the TC3 seems to almost center to zero position but more often than not, it is a couple degrees off in either direction.

Any thoughts?

I had that problem with a HS-81MG in my micro. I flushed the gears and potentiometer (sp?) with some electrical cleaner and then re-oiled the gears. The problem went away. I've heard that sometimes the pot. has some grease or dirt get in it and the servo can go out of center.

Of course, a second opinion would be warranted in this case...

also check for binding in the steering linkage.

That is #1 cause for centering issues.

yes I know the feeling in fact thats why I got on here I've got a 625mg that does that in a tc3 but as long as it is in a buggy it is ok go figure? and I've got a 5625 that goes nuts when you hit the throttle and I've tried different receivers and speedos some one said they had the same problems w/theirs when used with airtronics radios they sold them and to people not using airtronics and the people had no problems. so what is going on.what type of radio are you using I wouldn't figure it would matter on a digital servo let alone on a regular servo but my digital will just sit there making all kinds of noises and you move the wheel and it will quit for a while
