Default Will these work?

Will these two servo's work well in a 1/10 Nitro Sedan? First one is for the throttle and brake SERVO-HS-605BB High Speed; 91 oz/in at .13 sec and the second one is for the steering SERVO-HS-925MG Super Speed; 103 oz/in at .08 sec.? Don't want to run digi's because the Mugen MTX 3 only has a 800 battery pack and don't want to drain the batteries! If you think these will work well please let me know or if you think there are better servo's for this application please let me know as I would like to order up some stuff on Monday or Tuesday! Thanks for your time!

I would get digital ones as they are alot more precise. You can also get 1100mah packs for your type of car. All the guys I know that run thier gas touring cars run them. The servos you picked would work fine but are just not as precise as the digitals ones would be for you.

You can't fit 1100 packs in a MTX3. There AAA batteries. Anybody else have input on the servo thing?

How about these two servo's. First one is for steering HTS35925 digital servo 128 oz/in at .o8 sec and the second one is for throttle HTS35475 digital servo 76 oz/in at .18 sec. Do you guys think this is a good selection for a 1/10 scale Mugen MTX 3? Just want to start out with the best possible parts that way I only have to buy once. I'm kinda hoping to hear from Mike Mayberry on this one since he is the Hi-Tec guru. Also do the Hi-Tec digital servo's suck alot more battery than there regular servo's? Thanks.

That is a better choice. I use the 5925 for steering and on my GT i use the 5625 for throttle. I think Trinity, Orion, and Reedy make 1100mah receiver packs that are not AAA sized that should fit. They make many different configurations

Running 2 digitals in the MTX-3 is useless. The drain on the batts kills any advantages you get from the digitals. Personally, I use a 645mg for throttle & 5625 for steering. Using this combo, I get a little over an hr run time out of my 800ma pack. You could also use a 625 for steering. This should give more than adequate performance and increase run time a little more.

Isn't a 5625 a digital? I thought you said not to use digital's? Please clarify as I would be happy with a little over an hour runtimes.

Just read your post agian. I guess your running a digiatl for the steering where its important to have good centering and a regular servo on the throttle. I think I will go this route as well. If I get a 850 battery pack I'll definitely get over an hour on my pack and thats good enough for me! Thanks for your time.

Do you think the 5625 has enough torque for the steering or should I get the 5645? It has another 30 oz/in over the 5625 but is .05seconds slower than the 5625. Let me know, thanks.

The 5625 is more than sufficient for the steering. You're turning touring car tires, not monster truck tires.

And you're right, I use the digital on steering where it's important!!!!

Good luck!!!!

My personal choice for gas cars is:

HS-5925 ST
HS-525 for TH

I like a standard analog for TH....

If you do go with digitals all the way around, be VERY sure to set your EPA's!
