Unhappy HS-5625MG problem

i bought a hs-5625mg for my slayers steering last Friday from my LHS.
Finally today the weather cleared up enough to go driving after about 2 tanks it had stopped working.
I opened it up to see if the wires had come loose and this is what i found, click the thumb for a better view.

All the linkages where set right everything seemed fine until it just cut out completely.
What could have caused it to burn up like that i was only running in lose dirt and the servo has more than enough torque for the slayer and theres no binding in the steering its smooth as silk.
My ? is this is covered under the 2 year warranty because i really don't want to have to spend another 50 bucks for a servo.

Send it in with a copy of your sales receipt. There should not be any problems covering it under warranty.
