Default HS5245MG

I have a new Hitec HS5245MG with a small red kimbrough servo saver installed. I got hit once and now it does not center in the same place twice. I did have a Hitec HS225MG that did the same thing. Is there something about the way that these are made that does this under a shock? My friends at the track run Futaba servo s9650 and they have been in similar wrecks and dont have this problem. The servo seems fine. It is not stuck and it does not grind, when I turn it buy hand. It just does not center up the way that it should.

Depending on how it impacted, it may have damaged the potentiometer which would explain why it does not center properly now. The best thing to do is to send it in to our service department to have it checked.

Do you have any idea what the cost would be?

Worst case, non-warranty that servo would have a $29 flat rate fee to replace it.
