Default 7955tg

I have 3 x 1/8 buggies all with 2 x 7955TG Hitec servos in them.
On the weekend my steering servo which is about 1-2 months old went up in smoke. When I removed it from the the car the bottom case of the servo had melted.
I am using a 6volt hump pack to run.
Is this covered under warranty?
Cheers Casey

Send it in with a copy of your sales receipt and it should be covered. You may also want to double check your end point adjustments for steering and make sure that the servo stops before you hit your steering knuckle stops. It sounds like you may have them set incorrectly and the servo ended up stalling and burning the amp's out.

End points certainly were set correctly as this strength servo is strong enough to break steering components.
I will post it today.
Thanks for your help!
