I have a brand new 5945 that I purchased a long time ago. It says March 02 on the package. I was going to put it in my truck because my other Futaba servo broke. I plugged it into my receiver and the servo does not work. It is getting power because you can hear it, but it does not move.

I was told there is a 2 year warranty on these type of servos. It is just kind of shocking to pull a brand new servo out of package and it does not work. Like I said before I bought it just to put on the tool box in case I needed it.

What kind of truck, and what kind of Rx are you using?

I run a rc10gt with a Futaba 3pjs radio system. The rx I am running is a 113fm 3 channel receiver.

It could be as simple as it needs re-programming. Ask your LHS if they have one of our programmers. If they do get them to do a reset on the servo. If this doesn't help, send it in to us and we'll take a look and get it fixed up for you. TTYL.
