I have heard two opinions either hobbico makes hitec or hitec makes hobbico

either opinion true?

hitec make hobbico servos and futaba makes servos for tower hobbies brand,hpi,ofna,associated and most rtr radio systems.

i use a 7955TG on one rock crawler and cs-170 on another of my trucks and cant tell the difference...except in price

you would probably get better service and warranty with the hobbico version.

for whati found on the web. Hitec make them but why is the price different. Hitec servos can be programed and hobbico can not. How true is this HITEC??? i just ordered a couple of hobbicos to go along with all the hitecs that i have.

O and they have the same warranty..
