Hi,
I am new to hitec servos and robotics. Recently I have bought HSR5990TG - High torque servo for my project purpose. I wanted to control the handle of a bicycle using the servo. The maximum torque that the servo is rated for is 30kg-cm,while the load which we were appplying is less than 15kg-cm. Still the servo is not taking the load properly when it is rotating anticlockwise. My main question is that the servo takes the load very peacefully when it is rotating clockwise, but finds it difficult to rotate anticlockwise with the same load. Can anyone help me out with this. And one more thing....generally servos have three wires, one red,one white and one black...but this particular HSR5990TG servo has all three black wires. Does this have any significance? If I interchange High voltage wire and ground, will the servo rotate powerfully in the opposite direction?
