Default servo savers 645MG

i just got a 645MG and I have to say that either all the stock ball ends are larger or the servo savers from hitec really suck.

I am now down to 1 servo saver attachment thing that will work for my steering servo and it flexes ALOT.

am I missing something or are the holes in the servo saver pieces way to small?

You will need to drill the servo saver to fit the ball studs.

This is standard for most all servo savers.

What part are you talking about?

If you screwed the ball studs in and the plastic cracked then you did not drill them large enough.

Mike.

The stock horns that come with all servos are intended for control links on airplanes. You'll just need to make the hole larger to accomodate the ball studs. A 3/16" drill bit would be fine, 7/64" would be best.

If it's humming all the time, check your steering, it may be binding somewhere.

If it moves when you turn your radio off, that would have to do with your failsafe.

If you shut your radio off and the car is still on, there is no signal controlling your servo. It will move. If you do that at a track, it will move more than an 1/8th of a turn.

The humming is from loads being applied to the servo. All it needs is for you to put a little side load on the wheels and it will hum because its trying to stay where your Tx is telling it to stay. Its all normal servo functions. TTYL.
