Default Crawler/Hitec/Warranty?

Just wondering if Hitec considers using a HS-645MG in a rock crawler abusive?

The reason I ask is that I was playing with my AX10 tonight, crawling over some rocks, nothing terribly challenging, and it seems to have popped a gear. (gear post popped out of alignment, disengaging the gear. Nothing stripped)

So, is this covered by warranty?

Jim

Using anything in a rock crawler is abusive. It's probably the most abusive instillation for a servo.
As for what is covered under warranty, it would be defects in the motor, amplifier board, potentiometer and in this servos case also the gears if they break.
Send the servo in to us with a copy of your sales receipt and we can check out what broke.
