Default DCX Receiver

Hi! I've got an interesting question!

I have a Futaba FM 3PDF Radio (75mhz), but I'd like to use your Hitec FM DCX receiver (75mhz) for the next season. On the "DCX Hitec/Futaba 75mhz version" it says that it will work on Futaba transmitters on the 75 band, like mine. But the DX is a Dual Conversion, and i'm not sure if my Futaba 3PDF is dual convesion, as well. Futaba makes a conversion, though.

Thanks.

BTW, what's Dual Conversion?

It will work fine....
The DUAL Conversion takes place in the RX not TX....

but, you will need the Hitec dual conversion x'tals to get the dual conversion....

It would be a great combo with your radio....

Dual conversion basicly means that it filters the signal twice, where as all other ground systems only do it once....
(much cleaner signal)

Ask any of the plane guys and see what they are running..
(dual or single)

when they get a glitch it means big $$$$$....

Hope this helps.....

I couldn't pull the Tower page up...???

You need the following Hitec part #'s

24275 for the Rx
6677589 for the x'tal

try to do a search on them on Tower or hobbypeople site...

Your current x'tal in the radio will work fine.
