Default Configuring GY401 with Optic 6 Transmitter

Hi everyone...

Is there a detailed step by step instruction manual link that explains how to setup a GY401 Gyro with a Hitec Optic 6 Transmitter? Most of the forums talk about how to set it up with Futaba radios and there are some differences with Hitec's. Some of the questions I have due to these differences are the following:

1. If I had already set a gyro setting in the transmitter, how can I inhibit the function now? Apparently I need to inhibit the gyro to try it in standard mode and do some initial tests before starting in heading hold.

2. Is there a switch where I can change from standard and Heading Hold mode that are not the flight modes (NOR, ST1, ST2 or ST3)?

3. In the instructions it says that the EPA for the gain channel (channel 5 I assume) has both sides (one for standard mode from 0 to 50% and another one for heading hold mode 50 to 100%). Apparently I only have one side in this channel as opposed to all other channels. Is there a reason for this? How will I be able to set both then?

4. Regarding which side is which. According to the manual, from 50 to 100% is heading hold and the gyro light should stay solid but in my configuration it says solid only from 0 to 50% and turns off from 51 to 100%. Why is it inverted?

5. Also in the instructions it says to reduce to 50% both sides of the AFR /D/R channel. Which channel and which function is this? Is it EPA for channel 4 or Dual Rates for channel 4?

I guess it's easier to create an instruction file using Optic 6 functions rather than trying to apply Futaba's one. Any help will be much appreciated. I am following this link http://www.futaba-rc.com/team/team-tip-002.html as instructions.

Thanks!
