Default Bouncing 5955 Servo

I put a new 5955 on throttle duty on my buggy, within a half hour runtime I noticed that when I chop the throttle, the servo "bounces" before returning to neutral. I had to set teh car up with enough play in the linkage so that the gas didn't come back on when going from throttle to brake, as the horn would bounce when transitioning. I playing with it, making sure the trigger on my tx wasn't bouncing, it wasn't. It does it when backing off the throttle slowly also. ???

Sorry for the slow reply.
I just played with it some more, with my backup radio (race radio is at the next race already), and it is still doing it. It is not as bad as when I noticed it at my last race, but it is definately going past "zero" before it zeroes itself, if that makes any sense. It does it with the linkage disconnected also. It also does it when going from brake to neutral, as well as going from throttle to neutral. After testing it in the buggy, I tried my truck version with the same exact setup/servo, and I can definately tell that the one in the truck is working correctly with no bouncing or hunting for neutral.

I would suggest sending it in to be checked out then. It way be something as simple as just needing to clean the pot but it could also require a part replaced too. The servo should not bounce around center.
